Cookery Books for Children

I had two sons and was determined that they would be somewhat intelligent about housekeeping and cooking.  Even when they were young I knew they may well have to keep their own home and cook for themselves or others.  When my oldest was about nine years old, I bought a series of cookery books for kids.  The boys were delighted to bake their first batch of cookies, make soup, and cook spaghetti.  One of the boys married and happily does the cooking at home while my bachelor son is just as much at ease ain the kitchen as under his car.  Teaching those  boys to whip up an omelette paid off handsomely.
